Welcome To The Women's Club Of The University Of Louisville
Founded in 1929, the Women’s Club of the University of Louisville is a social organization, whose mission is to provide tuition assistance to deserving students, and sponsor monthly activities that engage, enlighten, and educate our members. Please join us at our next event.
We offer monthly interest groups that cover a wide range of leisure pursuits from Book Discussion, Bridge, Movie and Koffee Klatch, Hiking Club to Conversational Lunch and Day Trippers, Scrabble, Canasta, as well as Garden Tours, Conversation and Needlwork,and Mah Jong. Additionally, we host six luncheons held at the University Club in September, October, November, February, March and April. Come join us for a delicious luncheon and an informative speaker. Topics for our luncheons this year will feature: September 2024- Tori Murden McClure (Explorer/Author/Academic), October 2024-Jeff Walz (U of L Women’s Basketball Coach/Athletics/Leadership), November 2024-Teddy Abrams ( Musician/The ARTS/Grammy Award winning Maestro of the Louisville Orchestra), February- Shannon Cogan, (Media/Journalist/WAVE3) and March - Kirk Menefee (Patient/Advocate/Science/Medicine).
